ERP that serves your mission.

Donor CRM, grant tracking, restricted fund accounting, and program outcome reporting in one system. Odoo deployed for NGOs, foundations, and social enterprises across four continents.

The cost of fragmented nonprofit tech.

Most mid-sized nonprofits run Blackbaud or Salesforce Nonprofit + QuickBooks or Sage Intacct + a spreadsheet for grants + a separate program tool. Integration costs more than the tools, board reports take manual assembly, and audit prep stretches into weeks.

Odoo consolidates 80-90% of this — donor CRM, grants, fund accounting, programs, HR, procurement — in one platform. For nonprofits with serious mission-reporting demands, the unified data model is more valuable than the savings.

— Questions

Nonprofit — FAQ.

Do you work with small NGOs?
Yes. We've deployed Odoo for nonprofits with under 20 staff, scaled all the way up to multinational NGOs with thousands. Engagement scope flexes accordingly.
Can you report to US GAAP for NPOs or IFRS for NPOs?
Yes. Fund accounting (ASU 2016-14 classification of net assets), functional expense allocation (Statement of Functional Expenses), and NPO-specific reports are configured per regulator. US IRS Form 990 prep, UK Charity SORP, and jurisdiction-specific nonprofit financial reporting are supported.
How does it compare to Blackbaud Raiser's Edge?
Raiser's Edge has deeper fundraising-specific features (prospect research integration, sophisticated gift aid calculation, memorial gift workflows) that matter for large development-driven organizations. Odoo covers 80% of those needs at a fraction of the cost, plus integrates natively with operational modules. For nonprofits that aren't fundraising-led we often replace RE entirely; for major-gifts-driven organizations we sometimes keep RE and integrate it.
What about volunteer management?
Volunteer records (skills, availability, preferences), event and shift scheduling, hours tracking, and recognition workflows are supported. For complex volunteer programs with sophisticated scheduling needs we extend with custom scheduling logic.
Does it handle membership organizations?
Yes. Odoo Members manages memberships with tiered levels, auto-renewal, member-only content and events, and member directories. We've deployed it for professional associations, chambers of commerce, and membership-based NGOs.
How does restricted fund accounting work?
Chart of accounts includes fund dimensions. Every transaction tagged with a fund code. Reports can show activity by fund with restrictions enforced (can't spend restricted funds on unrestricted activities without release). Multi-year grants with usage tracking. Released-from-restriction transactions produce the net asset classification changes auditors expect.
