POS that talks to your back office.

One POS for retail, restaurant, pop-up, and field — synced to inventory, pricing, and accounting. Online or offline, out of the box.

The cost of POS that isn't part of your ERP.

Retailers and restaurants end up with POS disconnected from the back office. Square or Lightspeed runs front-of-house, inventory lives elsewhere, accounting reconciles via nightly exports that break weekly. For a 10-store retailer that's 0.25-0.5 FTE plus $40-90K/year in license and integration maintenance.

Odoo POS is the front-end for Odoo Inventory and Accounting. Sales decrement stock in real time and post revenue to GL immediately. Multi-store chains get unified pricing, simultaneous campaigns, and inter-store transfers from any location.

— Our methodology

How we deliver Odoo — structured, rehearsed, rollback-tested.

Every Odoo engagement we take on runs through the same seven-phase delivery methodology — structured discovery, parallel configuration and data migration, rehearsed cutovers with tested rollback paths, role-based training, and 4-8 week hypercare. — Questions

POS questions we hear.

What hardware does it support?
Standard receipt printers (Epson, Star), barcode scanners (USB and Bluetooth), cash drawers, customer-facing displays, kitchen display systems, and the full Ingenico and Adyen payment terminal families. Front-end runs on iPads, Android tablets, Windows POS terminals, or Macs/PCs.
Can we run it across multiple stores with one back office?
Yes. Each store is a POS configuration tied to a single Odoo back-end. Inventory transfers, central pricing, promotional campaigns, and consolidated reporting are all built in. We've deployed across chains running 40+ locations on a single Odoo instance.
Does it handle high-volume POS?
Yes. We've deployed it in stores doing 2,000+ transactions per day. For very high-volume chains (national retailers with 100+ stores doing millions of transactions) we sometimes architect a federated setup where individual stores run edge POS instances that sync to a central Odoo.
What about restaurant-specific features?
Floor plans with table assignments, split bills (by item, by percentage, by person), course-timed kitchen routing, bar-vs-kitchen printers, tip handling (including tip pools), reservations integration, and menu engineering analytics. For sophisticated restaurant operations (high-volume multi-site chains) we sometimes integrate dedicated restaurant tech like 7shifts for labor or BevSpot for beverage cost control.
Does loyalty work across online and in-store?
Yes. Customer records, loyalty balances, and earn/burn history are shared across Odoo POS and Odoo eCommerce. A customer can earn points in-store, redeem online, and check their balance from their account portal.
How does it handle payments?
Integrated with Stripe, Adyen, Ingenico, Square (as payment terminal only), and dozens of regional processors. EMV chip, contactless, Apple/Google Pay, and buy-now-pay-later are all supported via the integrated processor.
