Should we replace Shopify with Odoo's native e-commerce?
Depends on scale and conversion-rate sensitivity. For < $5M ARR DTC brands, Odoo native works well and avoids the integration tax. For higher-volume DTC or anything needing Shop Pay-class checkout, keep Shopify and run bidirectional sync. We've done both — recommend per case.
How do you handle multi-state sales tax?
Avalara or Vertex integration — real-time tax calculation at POS and e-commerce checkout, plus monthly filing automation. Setup is a 2-week sub-project; ongoing cost is the Avalara / Vertex subscription.
Can Odoo POS run offline?
